Game of the month:
The 5th against the Lightning looms big after the Lightning took the Flyers apart in Tampa last
month. Tampa Bay with a re-vamped defense is posturing as an elite NHL team.
Great hockey can be had cheaply locally in the ECHL and the AHL. The AHL has 30 teams,
2 in Pennsylvania. The Wilkes-Barre Penguins and the Hershey Bears. Many of the other teams are within 4 hours
travel. The ECHL also has 2 local teams, the Reading Royals and the Trenton Titans (now affiliated with the Flyers
again!)
